Laufenburg, Switzerland

April 4th, 2019

We got a chance to walk through a small portion of the city of Laufenburg in Switzerland and see the Rhine river along the way. On the other site of the river is Germany.

The buildings and architecture are beautiful, however it is VERY expense to live here and our guide told us few ever own a home and most rent for life.

And old tower and church.
Looking down the street.
A old hotel in the square.
This is the restaurant we ate at. It has been around for hundreds of years.
Here we are in front of the restaurant.
We were served a medieval dinner in a basement cave.
We only had a two pronged fork and a knife.
Here is the menu in German.
Noodles, cabbage and lots of meat.
We passed around a silly helmet. 🙂
